2009 SUMMER COMPETITIVE UPDATE (9/9/08)
Today, Tuesday, September 9 at 12pm was the deadline for competitive players to accept the team assigments offered them. We are now in the process of processing all the registrations that came in right before the deadline and updating the web site to reflect those who have paid. We expect to have that done later today.

Our Director of Coaching and Director of Competitive Soccer will be addressing each roster over the next several days. The deadline having passed, the club reserves the right to remove uncommitted players from any roster and potentially offer that roster slot to another player. On a case by case basis, the club may choose to promote players to a higher level team, continue to seek additional players to fill out rosters, combine teams at an age level and/or combine teams across age levels.

Our goals are to to get each child playing at a level that is appropriate for their development and provide playing opportunities for as many kids as we can.

U16C1 GIRLS SEEKING ADDITIONAL PLAYERS (9/3/08)
The U16C1 Girls team is seeking additional players for the Summer 2009 season.  This team earned championship honors last summer at USA Cup Weekend and also the Cottage Grove Running With the Wolves Tournament.  The team is coached by Ken Reis, our club's senior coach.  Ken was the longtime assistant and then head coach with the very successful Burnsville Blaze High School Varsity program and his club teams have earned numerous state and tournament titles as well.  Qualified players seeking more information should contact BFSC Director of Coaching Tony Englund at tony.englund@burnsvillefire.org
