  • 2008 FALL COMPETITIVE SOCCER REGISTRATION OPEN (6/29/08)
    Registration is now open for the 2008 Fall Competitive Soccer Season! Shifting to a new policy this year, the club will conduct 2009 Summer Competitive League Tryouts BEFORE Fall Comp team formation, to allow NEXT summer's rosters to be the foundation for the fall teams. If you want to play Fall Comp soccer, please register before your age group conducts tryouts to be included in the Fall Comp team formation process!

    All Fire teams were home for the weekend, contesting the coveted FIREcup! We had a number of champions, and will post them as pictures are received!

  • FIRE TEAMS CLINCH LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS...NEW PREMIER STATUS EARNED! (6/27/08)
    Congratulations to the u12c1 and u13c1 girls teams, who have both clinched their league titles with room to spare. Both teams remain undefeated and untied in league play, in addition to hauling in tournament hardware left and right. The South District League Championship also brings the u13 girls an automatic Premier berth next season. The FIRE is burning strong!
  • TOTAL SOCCER SCHOOL OPEN TRAINING DEBUTS WEEK OF JULY 7 (6/27/08)
    As part of our commitment to provide affordable, high-level , flexible and year-round training for all of our players, BFSC competitive players are invited to train with BFSC Director of Coaching Tony Englund at Rose Park (Field #4). No pre-registration is required. The fee for attending each session is just $5, payable at the beginning of the session. Each training period will involve 30 minutes of intensive technical training followed by thirty minutes of small-sided games.  Please be ready to start training on time and bring your own water (balls will be supplied).   In case of inclement weather, the sessions will be cancelled through an announcement posted on the home page at least one hour before the scheduled training.   If you are interested in training with us but are not a BFSC-registered competitive player, please contact Tony Englund at tony.englund@burnsvillefire.org.   • FALL RECREATIONAL SOCCER REGISTRATION PERIOD EXTENDED (6/25/08)
    It's not too late! Due to our new uniform vendor, we have been able to cut down the lead time needed on our Fall Rec Soccer League, and are continuing to take registrations through Sunday, July 13! No late fee until July 14, so if signing up just slipped your mind, go online now to get in on the action!
  • FIREfest WRAPS UP BIGGEST SPRING REC SOCCER SEASON EVER! (6/23/08)
    pic The largest Spring Rec Soccer League ever gathered for their season-ending FIREfest Saturday, June 21st. More than 300 Kindergarten-6th Graders took to the field for two final games in the best weather all season. Thanks to all the coaches and players who made for a great season; we hope to see you back in the fall! Congratuations to our two FIREfest Champions: the u12boys from Neill (who staged a dramatic comeback from down 0-3 with five unanswered goals) and the u12girls from Hidden Valley (who won a thrilling shootout)...well done both!

    More than 80 happy campers are on the field this week at Rose Park stepping up their game at Minnesota's most affordable soccer camp...Total Soccer School!     The vast majority of keepers in the club, 21 in all, attended the innaugral Total Soccer School Keeper Camp. After a full week of fine-tuning their technical and tactical skills, opposing offenses better look out!
