2009 Summer Competitive League
The 2009 Summer Competitive League is the primary competitive (traveling) soccer season of the Minnesota soccer year.
Tryouts for Summer 2009 were held in the Fall of 2008 so that they could be conducted outdoors on real fields, and to allow teams to train and play indoors over the long Minnesota winter.
The Summer Competitive League includes 10-12 league games, scheduled for on either a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday pattern between early May and mid-July, 2009. Teams will practice at least once per week. Under-11 and older teams may also qualify for the MYSA Summer State Tournament in late July, 2009. Teams also travel to weekend tournaments during the season, typically 3-5 from April-July.
Club Fees listed below include team coaching stipend, all league referee fees, equipment and field costs, supplemental insurance coverage for all participants, coach background checks and registration fees for BAC, MYSA, USYS and USSF.
