We are extremely proud of the reputation our tournament has earned for top-flight referees. Each year we need some 200 referees to manage more than 400 games over the FIREcup weekend. In addition to our regular league ref crews, we are actively seeking referees who may be in town with one of the teams attending FIREcup or coming in early for USA Cup.
The State of Minnesota has mandated that all coached and referees obtain Concussion Certification. Certification can be obtained by completing the course on the CDC web site and printing the certificate of completion to be presented at registration/referee check-in. The payment for reffing during the tournament is the same payout as for our regular season games. The payout scale can be found on the Referee page. The link to the page is on the right-side of this page. The payout for floaters is TBD.
Referees need to be registered in GameOfficials.net, see link on right, for BFSC and also complete the FIREcup Referee Availability form, see below.
